The School of the Month for March is Our Lady of Fatima in San Clemente.
Our Lady of Fatima’s Transitional Kindergarten teacher, Lynda Donovan, was awarded the San Clemente’s “Elementary Educator of the Year.” Lynda has been an educator for 15 years, 12 of which have been at OLF. She loves the enthusiasm and love of life that each four and five year old brings with them to school every day. Watching them grow and discover how smart and competent they are is what motivates Lynda to be an exceptional educator. Every day is a fun adventure in her classroom!
Despite all the other options, Lynda chooses OLF because she is a product of Catholic education. She and her husband also sent their five children through Catholic school, from OLF all the way through Catholic Universities. Lynda feels blessed to be at a school where she can pray and give thanks to God and cannot imagine teaching anywhere else. She loves the kids and the school community and, it is safe to say, they love her too.
