St. Joseph Catholic School in Placentia is seeking a passionate and dedicated 2nd grade teacher to join our fun, faith filled team. The 2nd grade teacher plays an integral role in providing a nurturing, faith-based environment while laying the essential academic and developmental foundation for our youngest learners.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree and California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential
Experience teaching early elementary students with strong literacy and math instruction
Practicing Catholic who models faith and integrates Catholic values daily
Able to prepare students spiritually and academically for First Communion
Committed to the mission of Catholic education and a joyful , faith-filled classroom
Collaborative, flexible, and nurturing with students and families
Salary:
Placement on the scale in accordance with experience and diocesan guidelines. The salary scale starts at $51,836 and provides for step increases annually to reflect teacher experience.
