Work hours are 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday. The Preschool Teacher/Extended Care Aide will assist in various roles within the Preschool during the morning program and will then provide a combination of instruction and childcare during Extended Care from 11:30 AM to 6 PM. Will be responsible for developing and implementing a program of activities that promote the academic, social, emotional and physical development of each child in accordance with the curriculum guide, resources and training provided by the Diocese of Orange and Community Care Licensing.
There are no work hours during the summer. Minimum qualifications: – 1 to 2 Years of experience as a Preschool Teacher or Preschool Assistant – 12 units of early childhood education OR 6 early childhood education units, provided the candidate is continuously enrolled in at least 2 units per semester until fully qualified. – Must be able to meet all other requirements of Community Care Licensing for employment in a Preschool.
Pay rate: $22.43/hour
