We are seeking a dedicated and faith-aligned Full-Time Junior High Math/Science Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will inspire students in grades 6–8 through engaging instruction in math and science while integrating Catholic values into the curriculum.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver standards-based instruction in math and/or science for junior high students
  • Design engaging lessons that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world application
  • Incorporate hands-on learning experiences, including labs, projects, and interactive activities
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide clear, timely feedback to support growth
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
  • Maintain a structured, respectful, and faith-centered classroom environment
  • Model Christian behavior and support the spiritual development of students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning and school initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with parents, faculty, and administration
  • Participate in school liturgies, prayer services, retreats, and community events
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned in support of the school’s mission and operations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Education, or related field (Master’s in education preferred)
  • Valid teaching credential preferred
  • Prior teaching experience at the middle school level preferred
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

Preferred Qualities:

  • Practicing Catholic; willingness to support the mission of the Church
  • Experience with differentiated instruction and student-centered learning
  • Familiarity with integrating technology into instruction

Compensation & Benefits:

  • The annual salary will be based on the 2026-2027 Diocese of Orange Teacher Salary Scale ($49,394 – $90,164.00). Placement on the scale is contingent on education and experience.
