Cristo Rey Orange County High School is seeking an experienced school counselor who is committed to the mission of transforming the lives of underserved youth through high quality, holistic education. The school counselor is a full-time employee who works closely with students to help them cope with personal and social-emotional challenges that affect their growth and socialization. Through one-on-one, small group, or classroom sessions, the school counselor addresses issues relevant to the teenage student population served by our school. Additional leadership and collaboration responsibilities are included in the position, as well as student supervision duties, participation in professional development, and after-school support as assigned.
