We are seeking a dedicated and faith-aligned Full-Time Junior High Math/Science Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will inspire students in grades 6–8 through engaging instruction in math and science while integrating Catholic values into the curriculum.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver standards-based instruction in math and/or science for junior high students
- Design engaging lessons that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world application
- Incorporate hands-on learning experiences, including labs, projects, and interactive activities
- Assess student progress regularly and provide clear, timely feedback to support growth
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
- Maintain a structured, respectful, and faith-centered classroom environment
- Model Christian behavior and support the spiritual development of students
- Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning and school initiatives
- Communicate effectively with parents, faculty, and administration
- Participate in school liturgies, prayer services, retreats, and community events
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned in support of the school’s mission and operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Education, or related field (Master’s in education preferred)
- Valid teaching credential preferred
- Prior teaching experience at the middle school level preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
Preferred Qualities:
- Practicing Catholic; willingness to support the mission of the Church
- Experience with differentiated instruction and student-centered learning
- Familiarity with integrating technology into instruction
Compensation & Benefits:
- The annual salary will be based on the 2026-2027 Diocese of Orange Teacher Salary Scale ($49,394 – $90,164.00). Placement on the scale is contingent on education and experience.
